Fitur AWS Local Zones
AWS Local Zone adalah tipe deployment infrastruktur AWS yang menempatkan komputasi, penyimpanan, basis data, dan layanan tertentu lainnya lebih dekat dengan masyarakat, industri, dan pusat IT yang luas, yang memungkinkan Anda menghadirkan aplikasi yang memerlukan latensi milidetik satu digit untuk pengguna akhir.
Layanan AWS
Anda dapat menggunakan AWS Local Zone untuk menjalankan berbagai layanan AWS, seperti Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon FSx, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Amazon EMR, Amazon ElastiCache, dan Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) di geografi yang dekat dengan pengguna akhir Anda, dengan lebih banyak layanan yang akan ditambahkan pada masa mendatang. Anda juga bisa menggunakan Reservasi Kapasitas Sesuai Permintaan untuk memesan kapasitas bagi instans Amazon EC2 di Local Zone spesifik. Local Zone menawarkan pilihan tujuan umum, komputasi yang dioptimalkan, memori yang dioptimalkan, komputasi yang dipercepat, dan penyimpanan yang dioptimalkan rangiaian instans Amazon EC2 serta volume Amazon EBS, seperti SSD Tujuan Umum (gp3), SSD Tujuan Umum (gp2), SSD IOPS yang Disediakan (io1), HDD yang Dioptimalkan Throughput (st1), dan Cold HDD (sc1) untuk penyimpanan blok lokal yang persisten. Local Zone juga menawarkan dua layanan file secara lokal: Amazon FSx for Lustre (sistem file POSIX beperforma tinggi) dan AWS FSx for Windows File Server (sistem file Microsoft Windows native).
Kontainer
Anda dapat menjalankan pod Kubernetes di Local Zone sebagai bagian dari klaster Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) Anda. Anda juga bisa menjalankan tugas Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) di Local Zone.
Jaringan
Perluas Amazon VPC dengan lancar di dalam akun untuk menjangkau seluruh Zona Ketersediaan dan Local Zone. Anda dapat membuat subnet di VPC wilayah Anda dan menghubungkannya dengan Local Zone sama seperti Anda menghubungkan subnet dengan Zona Ketersediaan di AWS Region untuk memperluas semua fitur VPC, termasuk Grup Keamanan, ACL Jaringan, dan Tabel Rute ke Local Zone.
Koneksi Internet dan Langsung
Local Zone memiliki ingress dan egress internet lokal untuk mengurangi latensi. Local Zone juga mendukung AWS Direct Connect, yang memberi Anda kesempatan untuk merutekan lalu lintas Anda melalui koneksi jaringan privat.
Layanan Akses Wilayah
Dengan Local Zone, Anda dapat terhubung dengan lancar ke berbagai layanan, seperti Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) dan Amazon DynamoDB, di AWS Region melalui API dan set alat yang sama melalui penyokong jaringan AWS privat dan bandwidth tinggi.
